Nothing beats a little breakfast serenade

 

She's such a good big sister to Gibson. She just adores him.  She was singing one of her own songs to him this morning.  She is always making up melodies for us to enjoy.  Daddy thinks singing might be in her future....

Here are some of the things Owen and Lilly came up with that they are thankful for:

L: for Mommy, Daddy, Bubby, Baby Gibby

O: for somebody to walk (for legs to walk--we just had a conversation about that the other day), for Mommy and Daddy, for Jesus (when asked why: because He is good), for God (when asked why: because He helps us obey), for toys, for markers, for scissors

Box Fun

I should have thought to have my camera out more this particular evening.  They had so much fun playing with the box from our new water heater.  It was a house, a tunnel, a slide off the couch, a tunnel slide off the couch, and this was the finale of the evening:
