Our garage-barn is going up! We are super excited! And it's great entertainment for the kids, too! Our contractor is great. He even let Owen try out the auger. (Ok, well, he turned it off, so Owen could pretend to use it...but he still thought it was cool.)
Watching the forklift unload everything.
Gibson even kept a close eye on the forklift happenings.

If you spend much time around Owen, you will be sure to notice his love of tying/attaching/stringing together trains of tractors and trailors. This particular afternoon he wanted to take his sister for a ride.
But after a few tries to get moving, he decided Lilly was too heavy to pull. :P

Oh, what a rain that would be!
Hurricane Isaac has sent us some much needed rain this past weekend. The kids enjoyed playing in the puddles Sunday evening.

Lilly has recently become quite the little mommy. It happened when she started becoming a "big girl" and using the potty. Now when she wakes up often the first thing she tells me is her baby needs her diaper changed because "baby poo poo stinky." Baby is almost always in her arms wherever she goes and is included in all her activities. Baby reads books with us, baby eats meals with us, baby eats, baby drinks, baby takes baths (with wipes), baby takes naps, baby needs rocked when she cries....
baby likes stroller rides,
eating cheese, and
Baby even likes to go see the cows.

A little randomness of outside fun.
Lilly is quite the little monkey. She keeps us laughing with her silly personality.
Gibson is a momma's boy and loves watching all the happenings around him.
Owen is taking on the "big brother" role with eagerness. I enjoy watching his care for others.
(He was driving really slow and carefully as he took this little boy for a ride in the police car. Checking to make sure he was okay frequently.)
