All Smiles

This girl is the smiliest baby!
Her cheeks make her eyes all squinty when she smiles--so cute!

Thanks, Nicole, for the cute outfit :)

Is it possible to have too much fun in the middle of Feb?

With all of the cold, snow, ice, and now a giant slushy mess outside, it might be possible that we have a bit of cabin fever. (We did go out and play in the melting snow yesterday. Owen loved it. So did Mommy--the smell of spring was in the air!) But, this morning we made the most of our inside time with finger painting, a bath to wash it all off, and cushion jumping. Lilly was a compliant and happy observer of the events.

All by myself:

I grabbed onto the birdy.

(But the only problem was I couldn't let go for a long time! )

...and I am learning to bat at the animals on my bouncy seat. So fun!

(I had a video to prove it, but I can't get our Internet to cooperate and upload it...I'll try again later.)

Before it all melted...

A Seat for Each

Today was Lilly's first time sitting in the bumbo. As you might have guessed, there was all kinds of excitement from Owen when I brought the seat downstairs and put the "new" chair on the floor. He told me right away that it was for "Lala" and then he wanted to try it out too. Lilly liked her new chair. She sat in it for a good 15 minutes before she was ready to get out...just looking around and enjoying the new perspective. Owen wanted to be right next to her, so we got his potty seat and the pair sat in their seats like two peas in a pod.

"But don't you know sitting on the potty with pants and a diaper on isn't right, Mommy, " Owen reminded me in his own combination of gestures and toddler words. So we quickly took off his bottoms and they continued to sit like two peas in a pod.

And just because, Mommy and her sweet little girl :)

Snow Fun

Owen and Addi watching the "tractor."
Owen wasn't too sure about the idea of riding in a sled behind one of his favorite things.
Addi couldn't wait to get started.
He liked being on the "tractor" much better.
But then Owen changed his mind and was loving it right along with Addi.

Jimmy took a turn enjoying the ride too.

Some entertainment in our own yard from the other day.

Boo

Breakfast

("Owa" is how Owen says his name. Whenever I get the camera out, he starts saying his name incessantly because he wants to see himself on the camera. You have no idea how many pictures I've taken with him in the middle of pronouncing his name. Funny boy.)

Look at that hair!

What a goofy boy! I love him to pieces!

Good Neighbor

From the moment our neighbor got out his tractor this morning until he was done removing snow from our drive way and his own, Owen was glued to the window....talking constantly the tractor. Well, mostly just shouting "wa-wa" (tractor) over and over again and moving from window to window waving to our neighbor as he worked. What a good neighbor we have! Every time is snows, he plows us out! Thank you, Frank!

Yes, we even multi-tasked and watched the tractor while sitting on the potty.
(Oh, and do you see those beautiful flowers in the window that my hubby surprised me with the other day??)
